Because it turns out, finding a paycheck is easy, finding character is nearly impossible.
Back in the day, the bar is in hell, men have two job requirements, don’t die and provide, boom marriage DONE. But now, women have their own careers, we have our own money, we started asking for things like emotional intelligence and communications and suddenly the population dropped to ZERO. We asked for a man who can express a feeling without glitching and the system crashed.
The moment we prioritized personality over provision, the dating pool started looking like a clearance rock at 3:00AM. We told them if we’ll handle stability, you just show us who you are. Men everywhere started panicking because they realized they can’t hide behind their wallet anymore. They actually have to be healed, decent human being. That is why everyone is single because the moment character entered the group chat, half the roster simply evaporated. Don’t ask us why we are picky, ask why the basic standard of being a good person was enough to empty the entire room.
